A little Irish

Right around the corner is one of my favorite fun holidays. My heritage is partially Irish and I love having fun on St. Patrick ’s Day with my son. We have a pesky leprechaun who causes mischief around our house in March. He makes messes and leaves green things all over the house. We listen to Irish folk music and read stories about the wee folk. (Tomie de Paola has some fun ones for your littles.)So in the spirit of good old Irish fun, I’d like to highlight some of Sheteam’s talented artists.

Prairiecottagerose offers an Irish Blessing Table Runner in a fun shamrocks fabric.

BathNBeads created a set of shamrock soap —so pretty for your bathroom or perhaps the leprechaun will leave them as a gift for your children?

Emptynestegg has a St. Patrick’s crystal bracelet in a few variations. Perfect to wear on March 17th to prevent pinching!

Mountaineercountry offers a sweet candle in a shamrock teacup. Perhaps burning it will mesmerize the wee folks into leaving their gold behind?

Timelesschild talent produces collars for Irish dance costumes.

Mummumscrafts offers soap in the correct color—GREEN!

HuggyBearKnits yarn will inspire you to pick up the needles and knit something tiny for a pesky leprechaun.

Mompotter’s bracelet offers the best of St. Patrick’s Day—green and gold together in one piece. And you won’t have to catch a leprechaun to afford it!

Tredlightphotographs shares an icon of St. Patrick’s day—I wonder if any of these are of the 4 leaf variety?

Since Ireland is the Emerald Isle, I can’t leave these out. Beadstylin shares her beautiful vintage style emerald earrings.

Speaking of the wee folk, FaerieRebecca shares the beautiful Lady Holly.

If you can’t catch the little guys, don’t feel badly! Just get this from smokeymountainscents and console yourself with the fact that you don’t need a leprechaun to have some gold!

Thank you for travelling to Ireland with me! Good luck catching those pesky leprechauns.
